+Didier lacroix - President

Mr. Didier Lacroix is a co-founder of NanoZilla LLC. Didier created NanoZilla LLC to provide management consulting services to semiconductor and IP companies.

Most recently with Chipidea, Didier had overall responsibility for Worldwide Sales and Marketing and built a worldwide sales team executing a very focused "fast growth" marketing and sales strategy. Under Didier's leadership Chipidea revenue run rate doubled from $20M to more than $40M. This directly contributed to the MIPS acquisition ($147M in cash) of Chipidea in August 2007.

Prior to Chipidea, Didier was the CEO and President for Discera where he led the company from a very early technology stage to initial product revenue and raised $12M in Series B funding plus $4M in debts. Discera was credited for being first in bringing to market MEMS based semiconductor products for timing applications as a replacement to Quartz-crystal products.

Prior to joining Discera, Didier was vice-president and general manager of the wireless business unit at MEMSCAP. MEMSCAP went public in 2001 raising >$100M in new capital with a market valuation of $400M. Didier forged key relationships between the company and several large semiconductor and MEMS foundries throughout the world to bring the company’s products to mass production.

Before MEMSCAP, Didier was a Group Director for the professional services organization of Synopsys and a major contributor to business growth from $2M to $40M+ and headcount growth from 10 to 150+ employees. The first year business development activity led by Didier resulted in $20M bookings in the Western region.

Prior to Synopsys, Didier held a variety of senior management roles at Cadence Design Systems where he contributed to the rapid growth of its professional services organization.

Didier holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from ESIEE (France) and an MSEE from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
